Prisoner: Harry Withernwick

Offence: 1st count for unlawfully and falsely pretending to one Percy Arnott that a certain wages ticket was a good and valid wages ticket and was signed by C.Clarke the foreman that there was then due to one C. Knaggs for work done on the S.S. Topside by means whereof he did attempt to obtain the sum of 6s with intent to defraud. 2nd count falsely pretending to the said C. Knaggs had 1 day in the said ship. 3rd count the said Harry Witherwick was convicted at Hull Borough Sessions on 22 Oct 1891 for felony. Sentence 2 calendar months imprisonment with hard labour.
