- Mr Charles Beswick Sissons (1874-1912), eldest son of Mr Thomas Hall Sissons, joined Sissons Brothers in 1890 (aged 16) He built up the export trade of the company in South America, the West Indies, India, the Far East and the Mediterranean. He was Joint Managing Director when he died, on 11 Apr 1912, at Mentone, France at the age of 37. Enclosed with this letter are two prayers forming an extract from the memorial service held in his memory
