This sub-collection contains the records of individual Jewish congregations that have been active in Hull since the late 19th century. Records relating to the following congregations are to be found within the subcollection: Hull Old Hebrew Congregation, 1826-1992; Hull Western Synagogue, 1902-1992; Hull Central Synagogue, 1886-1976; Hull Hebrew Congregation, 1992-present; Hull Reform Synagogue, 1960s-present.

Note that, whilst this subcollection includes a seriesfor Hull Reform Synagogue, the official records of the Hull Reform Synagogue Ne've Shalom, the records within this series are limited, having been donated by various individuals to the Hull Jewish Archive Committee prior to deposit of the collection.
