Description:

Report is an investigation into the possibility of obtaining authorisation for the implementation of a shore based boarding and landing service at Spurn. Includes costings, photographs and plans (1971).

Also contains loose papers which include letters from BP Petroleum Development Ltd detailing seismic survey carried out at Spurn (Oct 1967), from BTDB summarising Report recommendations (Mar 1972) and re-siting of Hi-Fix Radio Navigational Station and two slave stations (May 1970), from Dr S. L. Sutton of Department of Zoology, University of Leeds to George de Boer in relation to book on Spurn Natural History, lab facilities at Spurn and research students (Jun 1971). Also notes of Yorkshire Naturalists' Trust meeting concerning leases to BTDB and Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) at Spurn Peninsula (Dec 1972).
