- Files relating to ghe work of the Mission to Seafarers (formerly the Missions to Seamen), in international ports (including the Republic of Ireland) are in a separate series 'Port Files (International)'. Note that files relating to British home ports, i.e. Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England [U DMS/11/1]. Files generally contain monthly port reports, correspondence, extracts from minutes of meetings, notes, etc., and may also contain copy minutes of meetings in full, photographs and publicity material.
