Custodial History:

Alan Plater deposited the first instalment of his archive in 1992 and further transfers were made in 1996 and 2004. The final instalment of papers was received from his widow, Shirley Rubinstein, in March 2013 and represented almost the entire contents of Alan Plater's study at his death in 2010. A photographic record of his study was also made in March 2013.
