Other sources of information for the Pease family at Hull City Archives:

(a) Property Deeds (C DDX/1)

These documents relate chiefly to the estates in the old Town many of which were sold off for building in small lots with covenants for the production of deeds. Thus the title to the original Pease acquisitions remained with the family solicitors until deposited in the record office.

(b) The Hull Gas Company Records (C GC)

Part of the gasworks was built on land in Broadley St., and Anne Street, previously owned by the Peases. The deeds relating to its purchase trace the break up of this property for building and thus continue the story which begins in (a) above.

(c) Anne Pease married Arthur Maister in 1811. For the Maister papers, a collection of letters dated 1792-1815, see C DMT/16.
