Academic success: Mr. Gordon Cohen, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Cohen, B.A. from Jesus College, Cambridge.

Talmud Torah News: children addressed by Mr. Harold Berkley (elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Berkley) and Mrs. Berkley (about to settle permanently in Israel) on their four year's preparatory work at the Bachad farm at Thaxted and what they hoped to see in Israel; Rabbi disappointed in attendance numbers - ask parents not to take children away to the seaside until the term ends.
