The Hull Corporation Borough Extension Committee

Dates:
1876-1884

Description

Admin History:
Hull Corporation Borough Extension Committee was established in 1876 to consider and report to the council as to whether the corporation should seek to extend the municipal boundary. This would bring into the Borough the areas of Newington, St. John's Wood and other outlying districts. It would seek to identify the boundary and make recommendations for the arrangements of wards as well as deal with any other matters which such a boundary extension may involve. The committee terminated in 1884 once the extension had been completed.
