Dates:
1854-1888

Description

Admin History:
The Court of Records Committee was established at a meeting of the full council on 3 March 1883. It was to look at the position and practice of the Court and identify ways to improve both. In order to make such improvements, the council would need to apply to the Privy Council, which resulted in a need by the committee to consider previous attempts to reform the court. The committee was dissolved in Dec 1887, with its work taken over by the Parliamentary Committee.
