Records of the Hull Corporation River Humber Bank Footpath and the Footpaths Committees

Admin History:: April 1889 saw the first corporation footpaths committee instituted, although the issues had been considered by the council before. It was set up in order to enquire into the public rights over certain footpaths within the Borough of Hull, espcially around the River Humber. Its duites and responsiblites were later transferred to Hackney Carriage Committee from November 1899.
