Admin History:

The Alexandra Theatre opened in 1902 on the corner of George Street and Charlotte Street. It was owned by William Morton and designed by T Guest. A brick corner-tower was its main feature. The theatre was refurbished in 1930 but then destroyed by heavy bombing during the Second World War in 1941.
