Richard Brittaine, yeoman. Two lime kilns, dwelling house and grounds in Myton adjoining upon Humber near Limekiln Clow, the closes called Limekiln Closes and the liberty of fishing and setting coopes in the water of the Humber also the liberty of digging at the Ferry banks and lime kiln cliffe in Hessle and also the kiln or kilns on the said banks and limekiln cliffe, and a close of meadow or pasture called the Butcroft, and the waste ground or grouths by Humber side and reaching from Hessle Gates to the Limekiln Close. The lease contains a covenant as to the supplying and sale of lime to the inhabitants of the town at certain prices. Formerly Stanewell's reference M.760
