Writ issued to the Sheriff of Hull to apprehend Christopher Bolton and Richard Moxon so that they may appear in an action against them brought by Matthew Smith, relates to cases brought by Matthew Smith and also by John Lightly against Christopher Bolton and Richard Moxon for compensation for the destruction of property in the parish of Holy Trinity during a riot against the press gangs on 24 May 1815 and 31 July 1815
