Copy of the Bill of Complaint presented at York 27 September and adjourned until 5 October in a case heard in the Council of the North brought by Robert Legard of Anlaby against the Mayor and Burgess of Hull concerning the liability of the county to be rated towards the cleansing of the town ditches, and repair work towards drawbridges etc. Note that the following names are listed on the Bill: Sir William Bett, knight; Sir Thomas Widdrington, knight; Mr Jo.
