Includes examination of Francis Fairburn's mother, Margaret Fairburn (widow of the late Francis) of Paragon Place, Sykes Street, Sculcoates [Hull]. Apparently Francis junior married Ann at the Parish Church in Rooliston, Derby, [Rolleston]. Margaret states that her husband lived in the parish of Westbro [Westborough] during 1807 for 1 year where he served in his Master's house and she was a servant to Thomas Whitely. She also states that her son, Francis, never gained settlement elsewhere in his own right.
