Handwritten by a Mr R. Briggs details every mention of 'Sissons' name in the deeds of this property. The property was subsequently bought by Mr R.W. Layton in 1915 (Layton & Sons). Mr Layton died in 1940 and the business was subsequently owned by his son and daughter by the name 'Briggs' hence the author of this document, Mr R. Briggs.
