- These are typewritten and are by Richard C. Sissons, whose father, Mr. Harold H. Sissons, was co-founder and first president of the National Paint Federation. Richard was also a member of a number of Federation Committees in the 1930's representing his firm on the Federation Council from 1950-1962 and subsequently became a member of the first Council of the Paintmakers Association. He was also Chairman of the Hull and Yorkshire Paint Manufacturers Association in 1954/1955 and President of the National Paint Federation in 1955/6. These speeches include those he delivered at National Paint Federation and regional paint federation events and other events, such as the Scottish Master Painters, on behalf of the National Paint Federation
