- This bundle of letters are written variously to Miss Rebecca Robinson, Robinsons Hosiers, Butchery, Hull (later Black Wall, Halifax) and Mr Thomas Hall and sons), Nile Street, Hull. Thomas Sissons (1808-1892) married Rebecca Hall in May 1832. She was the daughter of Rebecca Robinson, the fifth daughter of Rev. Robinson, vicar of St Marys, Hull 1809. These letters are likely to relate to this branch of the Sissons family
