- Rebecca Hall married Thomas Sissons (1808-1892). Her brother, Edward Hall, attended school in Winteringham and later, St John's College, Cambridge. He married and had a family. He was posted in the 1840's as a chaplain to the Lord High Commissioner of the Ionian Islands at an English Chapel in Corfu
