- This colour booklet was produced by Reckitt and Colman to celebrate the new Sissons factory on Bankside built after the war and the Company becoming the latest member of the Reckitt and Colman Group. The image reproduced (from a painting by H. Crawforth) on the front cover shows the factory as it was in 1825. The text tells the history of Sissons since its foundation in 1803. Further pages illustrate some of the processes of paint manufacture which are carried out in the factory, list their principal products and give an insight into sales and distribution methods at home and abroad
