- This article celebrates the opening of the Glasgow branch of Sissons Brothers & Co., Ltd. It includes a photograph. The Glasgow works opened around 1912 with the front entrance at 113 Bath Street, Glasgow. This was mostly taken up as a showroom where their various varnishes, enamels, paints etc were on view, and where the office and private rooms were situated; while in the store behind, and to which access was also reached by the Wellington-street entrance, there was sufficient accommodation for a very large amount stock that public demand for was growing
