Relates to compulsory purchase by Hull Corporation of the German Lutheran Church and associated dwelling house in Nile Street in 1964. Note that a redevelopment plan for the Nile Street/Osborne Street area was discussed in 1960 at which time the Church were informed of the possible compulsory purchase of the Nile Street site. Includes secretary's letters and some papers, the later of which relate to the new church building and seamen's mission property at 72 Sunny Bank, Cotttingham Road.
