Includes:

i) Photocopy of a letter written in English sent to the German Lutheran Church in Hull by Geo. W. Richardson, Secretary of the Hull Master Butchers' Association, Richardson requests that all German and Austrian born members of the Association resign owing to 'the pressure of public opinion'. Note that the letterhead identifies Mr C.H. Hohenrein, a member of the church, as the vice-president of the Association, 20 May 1915;

ii) Photocopy of a letter written in German sent by D.M. Niemoller as President of the Kirchliches Aukenamt der Ev. Kirche in Deutschland, to G. Dalheim of Hull, 28 Jun 1949;

iii) Photocopy of a letter written in German sent by Dr W. Melchers of the Bundeskanzleramt Organisationsbuero fuer die Konsularisch-Wirtschaftlichen Vertretungen in Ausland, to T.G. Dalheim of Hull, 13 Mar 1950;

iv) Postcard written in German sent from Germany to the Reverend Hermann Weiner at Anlaby Park, 12 Feb 1953;

v) Copy letters written in German sent by Pastor E.H. Schaar of Hull to the Pastor of Sheffield and Manchester G. Meyer, 27 Aug 1968-19 Dec 1968;

vi) Letter written in English sent by Eleanor Richardson, great granddaughter of a former pastor [John Kruger?] of the German Lutheran Church whilst at Nile Street, to Pastor Schnellbacher, Richardson informs him of a piece of pottery in her possession which she believes belonged to her great granddfather whilst Pastor, 14 Apr 1972;

vii) Letter written in English sent by Ernst L. Schnellbacher informing the Chief Constable of Humberside that the Parsonage building attached to the church in Cottingham Road will be vacant from 25 Aug 1982-Feb 1983, 16 Aug 1982;

viii) Letter in English sent by Hjordis Kjaergaard as Pastor of the Danish Church in Hull to Ms Dalheim informing her of an increase in costs relating to the use of the Damish Church, Osborne Street, by the German Lutheran congregation, 2004.
