Letter from Charles Avison to Ann Terry. A long [& unpunctuated] begging letter from Ann Terry's relative who had fallen on hard times and wanted her to lend him £5 to buy his indentures. Her son Avison Terry's reply offers no sympathy and clearly he thinks Charles Avison is a scoundrel.
