- Published psalms written in Danish after the death of King Christian VIII of Denmark (18 Sep 1786, Copenhagen-died 20 Jan 1848, Amalienborg, Denmark). On 3 Dec 1839 he ascended the Danish throne and was King of Denmark during the rise of the liberal opposition to absolutism in the first half of the 19th century. King Christian died of blood poisoning in Amalienborg Palace in 1848 and was interred in Roskilde Cathedral.
