- Report of [not stated] as Inspector on behalf of the Board of Education relating to Hull Hebrew Girls School. Report concludes of the building that the girls department rooms convenient, surroundings cheerful, but remarks on 'awkward winding staircase for approaching the upper floor' and need for more suitable cloakroom accommodation for older scholars, and that the infant division needs a cupboard, colouring of the walls, and that the room is crowded. Report concludes that 'this interesting School is doing very useful work', that routine is 'intelligently planned' and supervised by Miss Morris, that discipline is excellent, that the children are 'interested in their lessons, accurate in their written exercises, and responsive', that all teachers are giving loyal help, remarks particularly on Miss Martin, and that the infants are orderly and attentive which is 'very creditable to Miss Beecroft'.
