- Draft report of Hull Jewish Representative Council Youth Centre Sub Committee to be presented at a meeting to be held 10 Jul 1961, report finds that construction of a suitable building at the Jewish Institute is not possible, that it is not possible to adapt the hall at Osborn Street Synagogue, and that the Arthur Lewenstein Hall is capable of extension by building on adjoining land that would need to be purchased, that the only alternative would be to select a new site and erect a specially designed building but that this would be too costly, and that a grant from the Maccabi Association might be possible, typescript.
