Sheinrog (headmistress), Esther Levine (Esther Jacob's prize), Yetta Segal (consolation prize), Edna Kersh, Julia Goldstein (shared the Miss Symons prize); tree tribute for the late Mr. Joe Mostyn (took a Psycholgy class at Central Haltemprice W.E.A., Anlaby) by his students - 12 trees to be planted in the Coronation Forest in his memory; Hull Zionist Society on Tuesday evening had a lecture from Mr Louis Saipe (playwright, historian, communal worker) on the series of changes through which the Jew has passed during the last 70 years, Mr. S. Lang (Hon. President) in the chair, Mr. J. J. Nicholls (Treasurer) proposed vote of thanks.
