Rabbi intends to increase repertoire of songs that the children can sing after reports of some being heard singin 'ashrenu' at Hessle fore-shore.

Rabbi guest at opening of Hull Grammar School, Bricknell Avenue, on Monday afternoon; platform party included Coun. J. L. Schultz, O.B.E., the Deputy Lord Mayor, and Mrs Schultz, Coun. A.K. Jacobs, J.P., ex-Lord Mayor and a member of the governing body and Mrs. B. Pearlman; building declared open by Dr. Tillyard, Master of Jesus College, Cambridge; vote of thanks Coun. Schultz (recalled extensive part played in this project by the late Ald. Benno Pearlman).
