Maizels on loss of their mother and sister; last Oneg of series led by the Rabbi who reviewed the series and remarked on attendance and non-attendance at these, hosted by Mr. Myer Wolff and his sister Rae, other speakers included Revs. H. Abrahams and J. Freedberg and Messrs. S. Lang and Jack Finestein; cost of hiring additional tables and chairs more than if bought outright; gift of photograph 'Sabbath Meditation' received from Mr. Marcus Bishop; gift of a woollen tallith from Mr. J. W. Klarik (celebrated Golden wedding a few weeks ago), their grandson, Leon Sugarman, becomes a Barmitvah in a fortnight's time; Mr. S. Moss, unfortunately ill at this time, is a fount of knowledge on the history of Anglo-Jewry and Hull Jewry; thanks to Mr. S Lepick and an anonymous gentleman for donations towards expenses of The Watchman.
