Gold, president from 2 Dec 1975 to 4 Nov 1980, Mr H. Taylor, president from 15 Dec 1980. Minutes in this period heavily concerned with appointment of and financial issues associated with Rev Caplan as Chezar, financial difficulties, negotiations with Western Synagogue in relation to amalgamation into a United Hebrew Congregation, legal suit between a member of the congregation and the Council.
