Notice of a General Meeting of Hull [Old] Hebrew Congregation, held at the Shakespeare Tavern on 29 Sep 1852, with Simeon Mosely as Chairman and Samuel Godfrey as Secretary, at which meeting resolutions were passed in relation to testimonials to be presented to George Alexander, past president, and Bethel Jacobs, present warden, to be funded by subscription and arranged by a committee of five consisting of S.
