Manuscript signed letter sent by Emanuel Levinson as Honorary Secretary of the Hull Western Synagogue to an unknown society, refers to the 'Dramatic Section' of the society, the unavailability of premises to hire at the Western Synagogue on Friday evenings, and requests whether or not the societies members can determine an alternative night other than Fridays, 2 Oct 1933;

Manuscript signed letter sent by S. Schultz as Honorary Secretary of the Hull Western Synagogue to Mr L. Finestein as Honorary Secretary of the Hull Old Hebrew Congregation, refers to proposals by the Hull Western Synagogue discussed at a recent Hull Old Hebrew Congregation Council meeting not being 'practicable' nor 'opportune' at present, 10 Jul 1951;

Typescript signed letter sent by Harold Lanch as Honorary Secretary of the Hull Western Synagogue to Mr Rapstone, refers to a stone laying ceremony at the 'New Memorial Hall' in the grounds of Hull Western Synagogue on 6 Jul 1955 and inviting the executive and council of which Mr Rapstone is a representative to be present, 24 Jun 1955;

Typescript signed letter sent by John Lewenstein, Solicitor, to Mr L. Abrahams, refers to Rev. Davies and existing arrangements for the payment of his salary, and to a potential vote of members to increase the minister's salary, 27 Jun 1957;

Typescript circular sent by the Town Clerk of Hull regarding the Lord Mayor's Civic Service to be held at Hull Western Synagogue at which the Chief Rabbi Dr Israel Brodie is to preach the sermon, 3 Jun 1958;

Manuscript draft of a letter to be sent to Alderman J.L. Shultz informing him of the Hull Western Synagogue Executive and Council decision to appoint another person as auditor and accountant and requesting that he return all relevant books and documents, 27 May 1959.
