- Contains press cuttings, correspondence and reproductions of original documents relating to individual Jewish refugees connected with Hull. It includes copy papers of the Jewish Committee for Refugees relating to Kindertransport. Compiled during the course of research by Jack Lennard in his capacity as an amateur historian and administrator of the former Hull Jewish Museum based at Linnaeus Street Synagogue following the sale of the synagogue when the Hull Western and Old Hebrew Congregations amalgamated in 1993. Additional correspondence from Ian Vellins, has been added by Dr David Lewis, administrator of the Jewish Archive, regarding the arrival of the first kindertransport group in December 1938. This includes a copy of a photograph of the first group heading to Hull, arriving at Harwich Station, taken by Dr Adler.
