- Contains notes, typescript transcripts, and photocopies of extracts from the Jewish Chronicle relating to the Hull Jewish Community from 1897 onwards, also contains bound proof copy of an edition of extracts taken from the Jewish Chronicle relating to Hull Jewish Community compiled by Mr Lennard and added to by Dr David Lewis. Compiled during the course of research by Jack Lennard in his capacity as an amateur historian and administrator of the former Hull Jewish Museum based at Linnaeus Street Synagogue following the sale of the synagogue when the Hull Western and Old Hebrew Congregations amalgamated in 1993.
