Compiled during the course of research by Jack Lennard in his capacity as an amateur historian and administrator of the former Hull Jewish Museum based at Linnaeus Street Synagogue following the sale of the synagogue when the Hull Western and Old Hebrew Congregations amalgamated in 1993.
