The volume contains copies of iterations of the proposed Bill, and subsequent proposed Act. It also contains copies of petitions against the Bill from a range of parties. Furthermore it contains correspondence with Sir Douglas Fox, reports on the Bill by Captain George Pirie and Sir Edward Leader Williams, and proposed amendments by the owners of river craft and the Humber Conservancy Commissioners.
