The volume contains copies of iterations of the proposed Bill: as deposited with Parliament, and as amended by Committee. It also contains copies of petitions against the Bill, related correspondence, and papers regarding proposed amendments/clauses for insertion in the Bill.

A number of plans deposited in connection with the Bill can also be found within the volume, along with reports on the Bill by the Clerk, Conservator, and Engineering Assistant of the Humber Conservancy, and Mr Abernethy.
