Foreign Shipping Dues: Hull

A register of shipping dues collected at Kingston upon Hull by the Humber Conservancy Board from vessels arriving from foreign ports (i.e. ships that have arrived from ports outside the United Kingdom).
The following information is included for each ship entered into the register:
1. Date reported
2. Receipt Number
3. Name of vessel
4. Port of departure
5. Registered tonnage
6. Amount of dues paid
7. Reason for exemption (when applicable)
8. Date dues paid
The first entry is carried over from 29 May 1949, and the volume contains a number of other entries from the same year.
Each month includes a summary of the total registered tonnage and the total amount of dues paid for that month. End of year summaries for 1950 (folio 29) and 1951 (folio 171).
