A register of staff employed by the Humber Conservancy Board by way of manual labour. Each entry provides an individuals date of birth, the date they entered the service, the capacity in which they served the Board, their salary, and any further remarks. Any changes to their job role are noted (e.g. promotions or transfers to other parts of the service), as are any bonuses issued and any changes to their salary. If an individuals employment ended while this was the active register, the reason behind their departure from the Board is typically noted.

In some cases the 'Date of Birth Certificate Produced' column is used to denoted whether someone is married.
