The file contains account statements rendered by the Humber Conservancy Board in response to criticism from the Board of Trade over the Conservancy's pooling, in a single account, the receipts and expenditure of the lease of the Humber Foreshore (including Broomfleet Estate), the leases of the Foreshores of the Rivers Ouse and Trent, and the property of Read's Island. The particulars relative to the sale, since 1858, of foreshore of the Humber and Ouse are outlined in the file. The remaining accounts are divided up as follows:

"A" Documents: Humber Conservancy Board Foreshore Accounts 1868 to 1907 (inclusive):

1. Statement of Accounts for: a) Humber Foreshores; b) Read's Island; c) Ouse and Trent Foreshores; and d) Summary.

2. Broomfleet Estate – Annual Income and Expenditure.
