The volume records foreign (vessels arriving from ports outside the UK) and coastwise (domestic UK traffic) shipping dues, as well as rivercraft registration fees, collected by the Humber Conservancy Board from vessels arriving at Keadby. Each entry for foreign and coastwise vessels record the following:

3. Name of vessel

4. Port of departure

5. Registered tonnage

6. Amount of dues paid

7. Any further remarks

The entries for foreign shipping cover the period 28 March 1908 to 28 December 1938, while the record of coastwise shipping covers 4 January 1908 to 31 December 1928.

Entries for rivercraft registration fees cover the period between 11 February 1908 and 28 October 1918, and record the following:
