- The file is concerned with the operational requirements of the Stallingborough Light. This includes: correspondence regarding the discontinuance of the Light, 'Equipment Requirements' (Form A), 'Stores in Stock' (Form B), and 'Equipment Received' (Form C), plus Humber Conservancy notices to mariners issued by the Secretary (Alfred William Franklin) to the various companies using the Humber Estuary on the subject of the discontinuance of the Stallingborough Light. It also includes postcards from the Lightkeeper to the Engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board (Arthur Ernest Butterfield) detailing on a monthly basis the paraffin received, consumed, and in stock.
