- File comprises correspondence between the engineer and also the secretary to the Humber Conservancy Board, the Board of Trade, Westminster, and Ship’s Masters of various sailing in the Upper River Humber which reported Groundings on the river bottom. The ships involved in grounding were S.S. Faxfleet, M. V. Hinderika, the Broomfleet, S.S. Weltondale, S.S. Sanfry and Harfry, S.S. Castlerock, S.S. Swinefleet and Saltmarsh, S.S. Yewmont and S.S. Britannia which grounded off Paull in foggy weather.
