File comprises correspondence between the engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, the Bennett Steamship Co. Ltd. Goole, and the Marine Superintendent, LMS Railway, Goole, regarding various Humber Conservancy works in the Upper River Humber. This includes moving the Lightship and gas float positions, listening for newly installed electric horns on gas floats, wreckage removal in the River Trent, marking of new channels, a proposed new tide gauge at North Ferriby, etc. Also includes monthly fuel consumptions for vessels Rosemary and Hikibydo, and monthly inspections of lightships and tide gauges within the Upper River Humber.
