Description:: File comprises correspondence between the engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, the officer in charge, Bull Light Vessel, the Board of Trade, Westminster, and various suppliers of equipment, and engineering companies, regarding the maintenance, and overhaul of the vessel, plus correspondence regarding crew members of the Bull Lightship (including regarding their ability to carry out their duties whilst on board). Also includes correspondence regarding explosions heard at the lightship in September 1933, as well as regarding one of the crew being a witness in a police court case in December 1932.
