- File comprises correspondence between the engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, the Aire & Calder Navigation, Leeds, the Trent Navigation Company, Nottingham, LMS Railway, Goole, Trinity House, and the Board of Trade, both of London, regarding the progress work (including river and tidal surveys, fog horn signals, lighting and timing of flashing, etc.), on the Trent Falls Improvement Act 1926. Notes that the walls in the Rivers Ouse and Trent are nearing completion. Also includes proposals for a new lighthouse for the falls, as well as specifications for the new lighting and structures.
