Description:: File comprises correspondence between the engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, various yacht launches and boat builders, and various suppliers of equipment (echo sounding gear, engine manufacturers, etc.), and insurance companies, etc., regarding the replacement of the Board’s motor launch Hikibydo, by a new wooden motor vessel Conservancy. Also includes a condition report and specification of the vessel Hikibydo. Notes problems between the Conservancy Board and the boat builder, regarding what constitutes a six month guarantee for the vessel after its completion.
