- Comprises correspondence between the engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Transport, both of London, the Market Weighton Drainage Board, Pocklington, various stone and slag suppliers, and various building contractors, regarding the maintenance and repair work to various buildings, including the farm house on the Broomfleet Estate, as well as remedial works to the river bank on the estate (labour for this work was carried out by prisoners of war). Also includes photographs of the damaged river bank, showing a priestman excavator in action. Work on the estate includes the provision of electricity to the Island Farm, Broomfleet, and a specification for the fold yard roof.
